AMOS (African Marketing Online Systems) was created and inspired by the philosophy of the great Dr. Amos Wilson. Dr. Wilson was one of the greatest African minds of the 20th century. He was dedicated to educating and empowering the spirit and consciousness of African people worldwide.

Dr. Wilson was a psychologist, sociologist, teacher, speaker, author, businessman and a Garveyite; from which the basis of his economic philosophy was formed.

He was a man who was able to take his Europeanized education and conceptualize it for the betterment and empowerment of African people worldwide.

Dr. Wilson was the author of several books, that outlined and analyzed the psychological, sociological and economic state of black people. Considered by many to be his most prominent book, “Blueprint For Black Power” was printed 3 years after his untimely and, by some accounts, “mysterious death”.

In this classic book, Dr. Wilson discusses the fundamental principles that we as Africans must adapt to establish ourselves collectively as an economic power within this “New World Order”. One of those basic strategies was the development and support of black businesses within our communities by black people.

His book was timely when it was first published in 1998 and is even more timely today.

African Marketing Online Systems (AMOS) draws upon the spirit and teachings of the great Dr. Amos Wilson by continuing his work of educating our people in the principles of economics and business. The roots of our philosophy and business come from the mind of Dr. Wilson, with an emphasis on utilizing the internet as a means for black businesses to reach more potential customers worldwide.
